The fifth Nourish festival will take place on Saturday 1 September when Bovey Tracey will be overflowing with food and craft events from 10 until 5.

Our main street will be filled with great Westcountry food producers along with a mouth-watering selection of street food vendors – there’s no need to go hungry!

A mini- craft festival featuring some of the region’s best makers will take place in the Methodist Hall just around the corner on Le Mollay-Littry Way. And the second Nourish Gin Festival will take place in and around the Dartmoor Whisky Distillery at the top of town. While you’re up there, you’ll surely want to check out how Devon’s first whisky is progressing, and also see how the Bovey Paradiso team are getting on with their plan to create a cinema just across the road.

Musically, the festival kicks off on Friday 31st August with the brilliant Fournier Trio and stellar clarinettist Peter Whyman in the Parish Church. Saturday lunchtime sees the extraordinary English bagpipe orchestra (and no, that’s not a misprint!) Zephyrus playing in the Baptist Church before guitar and flute duo Craig Ogden and Judith Hall bring the festival’s curtain down in the evening.
