Segway Tours at Haldon Forest

Experience the extensive panorama of the Haldon Forest, with Go-Segway,  as you glide along effortlessly on the eco-friendly i2 & X2 Personal Transporters. Taking in woodland tracks and trails, this is an unique way to enjoy the glorious sights Haldon Forest has to offer with amazing views of Exeter.

Tours start at 10.00am and run every hour until 6.00pm  all months continuing most weekends, weather permitting. Segways can operate in wet weather conditions – however private bookings only will operate, if there has been substantial rain the night before please call the info booking line early, around 8 am to avoid disappointment.

Standard tour 
This tour will introduce you to the Segway, it’s a lovely glide around the play trail in the forest taking in the amazing views Haldon Forest has to offer. Experience lasts 30-40 mins.

Extended tour 
This is for our customers that loved the last tour and want to come back for more. Here you get a longer trail to other parts of the Forest with a substantial hill at the conclusion where you unleash the power of your Segway to glide up the hill with zero effort.
Experience lasts approximately 1 hour

Segway Safari 
This is not for the faint hearted: on this tour you get to do what the Segway was designed for, you need to keep your wits about you as this a different training program all together! You will be powering your Segway round the new trail, look out for tree stumps and squirrels as this one is challenging!
Experience lasts approximately 1 hour

Segway Tour Trail is available to everyone over 38kg (6 stone) and under 127kg (20 stone), plus riders must be over 135cm (4ft 5″) 54″ and under 201cm (6ft 7″)
